Pokhara Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is one of the short and sweet trek to the Annapurna region of Nepal. This trek starts with walking under the cool shade of rhododendron and fir forests from the fascinating city of Pokhara.

Poon Hill is a major attraction of Ghorepani Poon Hill trek. The beautiful views of mountains, lush landscape, glorious sunrise forests, rivers, valleys and lakes makes you feel energised and regenerated throw away all your worries of altitude sickness and long tiring walks

There is two most Popular trekking routes to inter Ghorepani Poon Hill. One of them is the Ghandruk and another one is Hile. Pokhara is city of wonders. Surrounded with beautiful nature like rivers, waterfalls, hills, wonderful mountains and Annapurna panorama. Poon Hill trek include all these enjoyment in the shortest time.
This trek starts from a Nayapul village near Pokhara. As you hike up, interaction with local people on the way will helps you to experience about unique aspects of their lifestyle, culture and traditions. The journey starts with uphill and down hill through rhododendron and fir forests to Ghorepani. From Ghorepani, awesome views of mountains like Gangapurna, Annapurna, Annapurna south, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and many more.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu: Overnight at Hotel - 2/3 star catagories hotel will be provided.
Day 2: Drive to Pokhara (Lunch - Dinner) Driving Time: 6 hours: Early in the morning, we drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus. On the way, you can see beautiful mountains local village and famous water rafting river. Arrival in Pokhara and evening we visit beautiful lake, and overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga 1550m (4 hours) (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner): After breakfast, we drive to Nayapul by private coach and we start our trek from Nayapul to Tikhedhunga. On the way we can see many local village waterfalls, beautiful jungle and many kinds of bird. While we arrive lodge, we take room and rest at hotel. Evening we visit local village and after dinner we take rest.
Day 4: Trek to Ghorepani (2850m) (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner): Today is hard day we have to climb 3300 stare climb we fell tired but we can see snow cab south Annapurna fishtail mountain and we can see panoramic mountain beautiful rhododendron, Dane forest, thousands of flower. While we arrive Ghorepani, we can see a lot of snow cave mountain South Annapurna , Mt Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri etc. Evening we visit beautiful Ghorepani.
Day 5: Hike to Poonhill (3210m) (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner): Wake up early in the morning and hike to Poonhill, it is very popular sunrise point and view point from there you can see Annapurna I, south Annapurna, Fishtail hiuchuli. After visiting Poonhill, back to Ghorepani and have breakfast. After breakfast trek to Tadapani (2750m). Today short trekking most of trail is descend via Dane forest. While we will reach to Ghandruk we can see beautiful Gurung village with Panoramic Himalayan mountain. Afternoon we can visit beautiful village and monastery.
Day 6: Trek back to Nayapul via Saulibazzar (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner): On the way we can see the beautiful river, local people, fishtail mountain. Drive back to Pokhara over night at hotel.
Day 7 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley – Departure Internatioal airport.

3. Strong porters for carrying loads.(2 paying guests are followed by one strong porter)

1. Nepal Arrival visa (USD 25 for 15 days)
2. International flight to Nepal & vice versa.
