Kathmandu Lhasa tour - On the summit of the Red Hill, Potala palace is an impressive palace from where you can view the entire Lhasa city. This large palace is divided into two parts – red palace and white palace.

You hear about ancient tibet kingdom. Tibet is the beautiful place to visit and Lhasa is the administrative capital city of Tibet. Most of the Tibetan are buddhist. And this city is full of cultural richness and the tibetian art, artitectures and craftworks embedded in monasteries and ghumbas. You can experience the Buddhist culture and tradition. The views of the mountains like Xixapangma, Makalu, Cho-Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Langtang and other mountain panorama and also beautiful landscape makes this place spectacular and mindblowing. This tour makes you experience about ancient culture, traditional art, architecture and craftworks manifested in the monasteries of the city. The literal meaning of Lhasa is place of Gods. The place is considered holy as it has many places of cultural significance namely Potala palace, Jokhang temple, Norbulingka palace, Sera monastery and Drepung monastery. White palace which was once the house of local Tibetan government is now a living quarter of Dalai Lama. It was constructed in the 17th century and features the Dalai Lama’s quarters and many vital chapels. Another attraction is the Jokhang temple and it is the oldest temple in Lhasa. This temple is well decorated with the Tibetan arts and artitectures and surrounded by the Bakor Street. Jokhang temple helps you get the unique taste of Tibetan culture.
